You have only a few more hours to declare your love for your Valentine. The next step is to take them someplace romantic. Not sure where to go? It’s okay, we have your covered.

Voted Most Romantic Restaurant for 2011 and 2012 - the Woodberry Kitchen. Located at 2010 Clipper Park Rd, Baltimore, MD 21211, they are open between 5:00-10:00pm on the 14th. 

The number two Most Romantic Restaurant for 2011 - Charleston in Harbor East. Charleston is located at 1000 Lancaster St, Baltimore, MD 21202 and open for a late lunch and dinner; 1:00-10:00pm. Be mindful - a jacket and tie are most comfortable but not required.

The number two Most Romantic Restaurant for 2012 - Pazo. Their hours are from 2:00-10:00pm tomorrow. Be sure to check them out at 1425 Aliceanna St (at S Eden St), Baltimore, MD 21231.

Lastly, the number three Most Romantic Restaurant for 2011 - Kali’s Court in Fells Point. Located at 1606 Thames St (at Bond St), Baltimore, MD 21231, Kali’s Court is open from 3:00-10:00pm on Valentine’s Day.

I Voted badge and Election Results

Today is Election Day and Foursquare has joined forces with Engage, Google, the Voting Information Project, the Pew Center on the States, and the New Organizing Institute. The team is giving voters the opportunity to make the most of this historical day. With this location-based marketing application, it is directing voters where to vote along with a virtual badge and real time chat. Foursquare users just have to connect the I Voted app to their account to take advantage of this opportunity on Election Day.

They have also released a cute badge you can earn just as you would earn your “I Voted” sticker.

 Be sure to follow the results of the night at elections.foursquare.com. At the time of this post (6:50pm EST) there are been 3,975 total check-ins at 1,160 locations in Maryland.

Foursquare releases new badges for Halloween

With Halloween less than a week away, foursquare has released three new badges. 

Continuing with the traditional pumpkin-and-year type-badge, they’ve also added two more. 

It is unclear as to how to earn the other two badges. Foursquare says that when you check-in to a venue with 10 or more people, you’ll get a reward. They also state that if you say ‘Happy Halloween’, you’ll earn something nice.

Check in at a ghoulish gathering this weekend and wish your friends a “Happy Halloween” – (if more than ten people are there, look out for an extra treat!). Be sure to take pictures of all the best costumes you see! We’ll also be rewarding those who go the extra mile to celebrate on Halloween proper (School night? #YOLO). WooOooOOoooo!

Our best guess to earning that 3 zombie hand badge is checking into a venue with 10 or more people this weekend. To earn the spiderweb clock badge, we are guessing that you have to check into a venue with 10 or more people on Halloween (school night).

NFL teams earn Badges

In 2010, the Washington Redskins were the first team in the National Football League to have a foursquare badge. To earn that badge, you could check-in to specific venues that showed Redskins games or at FedEx Field, and be following them on foursquare. 

This year, four other teams have jumped on the social media wagon: Panthers, Texans, Jaguars, and Seahawks. 

Along with additional teams, foursquare made these ‘level-up’ type badges. So you can show off to your friends that you are a bigger fan then they are. 

So my question is: Where is the Ravens badge? For how much social media the Ravens’ PR squad does, they are really missing the free Charm City Circulator on this one. 

Moreover, how about the Orioles become the first MLB team to have a badge? They finally got rid of Gregg, so the O’s do have some cash left over for the badge campaign.
